How Monkeys are too smart in my opinion

They are in my opinion very smart to be considered a niche animal ( basically dumboes ) but they are underrated for their intelligence like I never hear anyone say ``Monkeys are smart `` Or the fact they can actually use tools.

Like I once saw a documentary of a monkeys intelleligence, and It can actually do decision making like the monkey had learned to press two buttons. 1 Button gave 2 bananas you can only press the 1st button once a day and the 2nd button took longer each time the monkey pressed it and it learned the longer the button took the more bananas it got from it and it learned how to wait for the reward. ( PS: If you wonder why the monkey didn’t the monkey press both buttons is because it could only press 1 button a day )

Another one is this time a group of 10 monkeys given 5 coins each day to buy what they wanted it was like Capitalism there was loads of food, object and even experience options like the monkey being able to pay 3 coins to go to a room with many bananas like a buffet for 15 minutes. But the more the group of monkeys buy 1 thing that thing becomes more expensive and the others get cheaper ( They still got the same amount of coins ) And they learned to trade each other stuff like objects and food they bought before it got more expensive.

That experiment was a fail and a success at the same time tho I not telling you why but you can search it and know the answer.

Anyways Thats why I think monkeys are smarter and underrated then what humans think they are.
